Oneofour Beat Collective provides a locus of activity, and a context in which to explore the intricacies of beatmaking – everything from swing to bounce, from compression to synthesis.
They put out a somewhat regular mixtape featuring some of Sydney’s (and occasionaly Melbourne’s) most innovative and forward thinking beatmakers. Past mixtapes have been compiled by Cleptoclectics, Jettison, 48/4 and Peon.
The mixtapes are premiered on FBI radio before being made available for download at the oneofour.net site or on itunes.

Loving the mixes
I’m somewhat new to sydney and im looking to get into the beat making scene. I looked at the Sydney CRD but it seems they are inactive at this moment. Any recommendations?
